Just ask the New England Patriots, who found themselves down 28-3 to the Atlanta Falcons at halftime of this year’s Super Bowl. During halftime, the Patriots' staff realized that they (Falcons) were playing a little more man coverage than they had before, which necessitated the Pats adjusting on the fly. This took away easy completions for the Patriots, who then had to adjust to the situation they were in. Their adjustments led to a 25-point comeback, and a fifth Super Bowl victory for Tom Brady and company.
