Vasu Kulkarni (Chief Executive Officer)

Vasu is a basketball junkie, having fallen in love with the game when he was 4 years old. He spent much of his childhood playing in India, but returning to the US for his undergraduate, Vasu made the Junior Varsity basketball team at the University of Pennsylvania and went on to be nicknamed "The Bangalore Blitz".

Prior to founding Krossover Intelligence, Vasu was a part of Comfort2020 as a technology lead, Lapview as an engineer, and founded GloMed, a health care outsourcing firm. Vasu has also worked as a BPM and ECM consultant to various financial institutions across the U.S. Vasu holds a BSc in Computer and Telecommunications Engineering and Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania.

Sandip Chaudhari (Chief Technology Officer)

Sandip leads Krossover's development after nearly a decade of experience in various roles at Bloomberg LP, most recently as a product security lead. Previously, Sandip was the founder of Infovorx Inc which was acquired by businessyantra.com. Sandip was also the co-founder of Immense LLC, which was one of the first ad platforms for streaming videos, and was folded into blip.tv. Sandip has also published and presented technical papers on various computer science related topics. Sandip holds a Masters in Computer Science from Syracuse University, and a Bachelors in Engineering from Sanjeevani's College of Engineering, University of Pune, India.

Alex Kirtland (VP of Products & UX)

Alex is a user experience and product development professional with over a decade of experience. He has designed and deployed applications for Morgan Stanley, Nokia, Blockbuster, Reuters, Western Union, Ford, Kodak, Merck, Pfizer, amongst others.

His interests include product development (specifically web-based and mobile apps) for startups and small companies; data visualization, information design, infographics, and information dashboards; and sports (specifically hockey), history and economics.

He also writes the blog UsableMarkets, which discusses information design, markets and user experience.

James Piette, Ph.D (Director of Analytics)

James is a sports analytics expert, having written several peer-reviewed articles on statistical research in basketball, baseball, hockey, and cricket. After spending countless hours developing statistical models to solve various sports problems such as player utilization and baseball performance prediction metrics, James decided it was time to help Krossover Intelligence with its mission of raising the level of sports. James holds three Bachelor's degrees from Trinity College and recently received his Ph.D from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Statistics.

Girish Walavalkar (Director of Technology)

Girish comes with over seven years of experience in web design and development. Coming from Yahoo!, he is exposed to a number of large scale, heavy traffic products in the Internet industry. He has a passion for technology and sports, which makes him a perfect fit for the Krossover team . Girish holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Shivaji University, India.
